(2003) Directed by Rochard Linklater. Dewey Finn (Jack Black) is a strugging rock guitarist who is fired from his band. Struggling to make ends meet he poses as a substitute teacher at a private elementary school. After witnessing the musical talent of the students, Dewey forms a band of fourth-graders to attempt to win the upcoming Battle of the Bands and use his winnings to pay his rent. [Comedy]
